Set up Exchange Cloud server, calendar, and contacts on your iPhone and iPad for iOS 11.

 

 

 

1. Add your Exchange Account

Tap Settings > Accounts & Passwords > Add Account > Exchange.

 

 
 

 

2. Enter your Email Address

Enter your email address and password. You can also enter an account description.

Email : Your full email address

Description : Office Mail

 
 

 

3. Press ‘Sign In’

At this stage you will receive a popup asking you if you want to manually configure the account. Ignore this and select the ‘Sign In’ option.

 
 

 

 

4. Enter your Password

A similar screen to before should show up with an additional field for you to enter your password in.

 

 

 

 

5. Press ‘Continue’

Another popup will appear warning you that the Server Identity cannot be verified.

This is not an issue and pressing ‘Continue’ will allow you to proceed.

 
 

6. Fill out the Server and Username fields

Enter the mobile server details in the Server field.  This is typically ‘mobile.example.co.uk’ (where example is the portion of your email address following the @ symbol.

Enter your email address (again) in the Username field and press ‘Next’. The form should look like below:

Email : Your full email address

Server : Mobile Server details

Username : Your full email address

Password : Your email password

Description : Office Mail

 
 

 

7. Press ‘Continue’

The Server Identity warning will popup again. Press ‘Continue’ to ignore it.

On the next screen make sure ‘Mail’ is selected and click save.

Your email should now be set up. Please note that it will take some time for your inbox to sync with the server.

 

Edit your Exchange settings

Tap Settings > Accounts and Passwords, and select your Exchange account. You can also set up automatic out-of-office replies, and change how often you want Mail to sync. You can also tap your account name to change Advanced Settings like SSL and S/MIME.
